Representative Katherine Clark (32nd Middlesex) kicked off her campaign bid for State Senate. Clark is running for the seat currently held by Senator Richard Tisei the Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor. The night's theme was baseball, complete with popcorn, hotdogs, cracker Jacks, and cotton candy.

The Middlesex and Worcester Democratic Coalition held it's annual awards breakfast on April 11th. Officials in attendance were Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray, Attorney General Martha Coakley, State Senator Jammie Eldridge, and State Representatives, Jen Benson, Kate Hogan and Danielle Gregoire.

The Greater Lowell Area Democrats meeting this Saturday had a law enforcement theme to it. Stopping by the 8:00 AM meeting in Chelmsford was Massachusetts Attorney General, Martha Coakley, Middlesex County Sheriff Jim DiPaola and Worcester County Sheriff, Guy Glodis who is running for State Auditor.
