Amy and some of her fellow classmates are spending their April school vacation helping victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. Boston, MA - Last night, the Massachusetts Historical Society celebrated the publication by Harvard University Press of My Dearest Friend: Letters of Abigail and John Adams. The event was held at Faneuil Hall and offered a reading of selected Adams letters. The event was hosted by Mary Richardson (WCVB-TV5). The selected letters were read by Senator and Mrs. Edward Kennedy, Governor and Mrs. Deval Patrick, and former Governor and Mrs. Michael Dukakis.
